Meininger Hotel Muenchen Olympiapark - Munich

We truly enjoyed staying here, it's vibrant hotel with pretty friendly staff by both the receptionists...

There were not comfortable beds.

The venue is vibrant, fairly clean and the location is particularly good next to the downtown and bmw Welt, fashionable design, the Oktoberfest festival, and the hotel-tram. Outstandingly accommodating staff provides an exceptional service. There is plenty of fresh food for breakfast.

Excellent customer service, including satisfactory breakfasts with cheese, a good spread of food plus yogurt. Well-equipped room with private bathroom and double glazed windows and free WiFi.

the rooms were brand-new, the pool was great, vibrant place. the staff was very amiable, everything was very comfortable. the room in a clean condition. the food at the restaurant was good.

spacious rooms but far from the center

The 6-bed room provided ample space for my family. The convenient setup with separate shower, toilet, and sink allowed for quick access for everyone in our group.

The hotel is quite distant from the city center.

The communal kitchen was convenient, but cleaning supplies were scarce. It was surprisingly comfortable despite the filthy hallways and lifts.

Spacious room for our family, but towels were mismatched and not big enough.

The staff greeted us warmly, and that was a nice touch. The shared kitchen on the ground floor worked well for us. We had plenty of room to sit together after exploring. Check-in was a hassle. We arrived at 2 PM but had to wait nearly 50 minutes for our room because it wasn't ready. A mix-up gave us a room that was already occupied! The air conditioning in our room struggled to keep us cool. It was unbearably hot the first night. Once we finally got to open the windows, things improved a ton. The noise from other guests could be distracting as well. The breakfast was decent, but the cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. Some areas felt neglected, like the dirty walls and noisy air conditioning.

I loved the superclean twin room with a cozy bed and spacious bathroom. The good wifi was a nice touch! The leisure room and game area were perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The room was a bit hot, and while we asked for a solution, it didn’t ruin my overall experience—just a heads up to future visitors! 😊

great access to olympiapark and city highlights for weekend strolls

I loved how easy it was to reach Olympiapark, just a short walk away, giving me direct access to beautiful park views and fun activities. With the tram station nearby, I could quickly hop on to explore other iconic sites in Munich.

The communal kitchen leaves a lot to be desired due to its disrepair, with low water pressure hindering cleanup efforts and dirty dishes piling up. The lack of air conditioning was good, while the inability to fully open windows added to the discomfort.

The nearby Yee Chino Restaurant stole the culinary show with its zingy flavors and good dishes, while the cozy atmosphere at Zur Geyerwally is perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The challenge of the shared kitchen at the hotel sparked some fun family cooking sessions!

The cleanliness of the rooms was a total letdown-unwashed linens and floors that could use a solid scrub left me yearning for freshness. Plus, the check-in experience felt chaotic, with staff unable to accommodate our needs efficiently.

Comfortable room, convenient location, with essentials like a tv and a shared kitchen, made our stay enjoyable given the hotel's close proximity to transportation options.

Nothing to dislike.

I stayed one night with my family. The kitchen on the ground floor was convenient for cooking. The spacious twin room was calm and offered a nice atmosphere. Friendly receptionists were helpful . The location was perfect, close to the Olympic park 😊

It was a great fit for a speedy visit in Munich with value for price. The common area was clean and cozy. Try to grab a seat in the lounge to unwind after a day out.
